A robust olive oil made from green olives, bottled by a single producer in the southern Peloponnese. Obtained from early-harvested Koroneiki olives with a high polyphenol content, it has an intense flavor with a subtle bitterness and distinct spiciness.
"URSPRUNG" comes from a remote natural area near Cape Akritas and is processed directly on site as a single producer. Ideal for purist applications such as on bread, with wild herb salad, or as a flavor accent over steamed vegetables and fresh pasta.

One-Time Olive Oil Order"URSPRUNG" is a robust olive oil made from green olives. It is harvested in early autumn in a remote, ecological retreat in the southern Peloponnese.
The farm is located near Cape Akritas, in a region with little infrastructure but ideal conditions for olive cultivation. There, Panagiotis Marantos works as an individual producer with a clear goal: the highest quality, a consistent avoidance of artificial fertilizers and pesticides, and a cultivation method that builds up the soil rather than exploiting it.
The olives are carefully harvested with lightweight equipment, and the oil is extracted directly on site. Low temperatures and high technical precision produce a single-varietal oil with a robust flavor, distinct spiciness, and a high content of natural bitter compounds.
This single-producer bottling stands for uncompromising quality and a fair, transparent compensation model. "Panos" receives a price significantly above market value, allowing him to preserve old olive groves, cultivate new areas, and share his knowledge with neighboring farms.

Store your olive oil in a cool, dark place at stable temperatures between 12 and 23°C. Direct sunlight, temperature fluctuations, or excessively high temperatures above 23°C can significantly reduce its quality.
After opening a canister or container, you should use the olive oil within 2 to 3 months if tightly closed to preserve its freshness and flavor. Alternatively, you can transfer oil from larger containers into smaller, ready-to-use bottles.
An exception to this rule are 19L stainless steel barrels: Since the olive oil is drawn gently and carefully, without unnecessary movement, oxidation is greatly reduced. This preserves the freshness and quality of the oil for significantly longer.
The right container for every need

Store in a dry, dark place. A pouring spout is recommended after opening. Consume within 2–3 months.

Store at stable temperatures between 12 and 23°C, protected from light. Keep tightly closed after opening and consume within 2–3 months.
➤ 10L Bag-in-Box
Protection from oxygen through a special bag system prevents oxidation. Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature between 12 and 23°C.
➤ 19L Stainless Steel Barrel
The barrel is filled with food-safe inert gas to prevent oxidation. Store in a dry place at 12–23°C, protected from sunlight. When emptying, only open the vent screw to ensure oxidation protection.
Important Note
At temperatures around 12°C or below, TEIKEI olive oil may coagulate – this is a natural quality characteristic and not a defect. However, this can make it difficult to remove from the container. Plan storage accordingly to ensure unadulterated enjoyment at all times.

The color is deep green-gold, the flavor intense, almost earthy – with a strong, lingering aftertaste. It is harvested in the early autumn months, when the first rains have passed over the land after the long, dry summer.
This oil represents the beginning of a movement: It is not just a product, but an invitation to other farms to join the regenerative path – inspired by one of the first TEIKEI olive farmers.
The harvest date is indicated on the label and is only valid if stored properly.
By purchasing a harvest share, you are guaranteed fresh olive oil from the latest season. The harvest at "URSPRUNG" takes place in October and November.
The olive harvest usually begins in mid- to late October and continues until January, depending on the growing region. However, TEIKEI olive oil remains a natural product, so the harvest time can change depending on the weather.
