HARVEST SHARE Fruit Box. From Field to Heart, Starting November
Harvest share for fresh fruit: seasonal boxes from community-supported agriculture – delivered to You, carried by a Europe-wide community.
Fruit box »Mandarins«
A box contains around 24–36 mandarins, depending on size. They are harvested fully ripe and do not ripen further after picking. Stored cool and dark, they keep for up to two months.
Depending on the season, the box includes clementines for easy peeling or juicing mandarins with a more robust skin. The fruits come from the Anyfion cooperative in Nafplio (Peloponnese), where they grow regeneratively in mixed orchards with oranges and lemons. Hand-harvested and delivered untreated, they bring natural sweetness and Mediterranean freshness.
Perfect as a snack, for juice, or to add a fruity note to winter dishes.
This product is only available for community deliveries.

HARVEST SHARE »Mandarins« – Radiant Variety from the Gardens of the South
Mandarins with character – fragrant, sweet, and full of aromatic nuances.
Each harvest share brings the diversity of small citrus groves to the table: grown in wind and sun, harvested with a keen eye, and sorted directly after picking. What arrives at Your home is fresh, unadulterated, and a direct expression of care and handcraft.
Our mandarins come from regeneratively managed mixed cultures on the Peloponnese – grown without synthetic inputs, with traditional knowledge, and in natural cycles. Depending on the season, the crates contain different varieties: from sweet clementines to robust juicing mandarins that pair beautifully with oranges. Not every variety peels easily – but each one is an expression of genuine agriculture.
Orders are possible year-round – but those who order early secure their place in the harvest planning and support the community-based logistics structure. In this way, every order becomes a contribution to farming that is fit for future generations.

Mandarin tip
Mandarin peels can be reused after peeling. Dried and finely chopped, they add a delicate citrus note to soups, rice, or baked goods. A simple way to make the most of the fruit and reduce waste.
Mandarins are harvested at their peak ripeness and do not continue to ripen significantly after picking. A fully ripe mandarin has a deep, vibrant orange colour (some varieties may show slight green patches even when ripe) and feels heavy for its size, indicating high juice content. The skin should be slightly loose around the flesh, smooth or slightly textured, and free from soft spots, cracks, or mould.
MAXIMISE SHELF LIFE
Store mandarins in a cool, dark place at 5–8 °C (41–46 °F) with a relative humidity of 90–95%. Under these conditions, they can keep fresh for up to 2–3 weeks. For longer storage, refrigerate them in a breathable container or mesh bag to allow air circulation and prevent moisture build-up, which can cause mould.
SPEED UP RIPENING
Mandarins are non-climacteric fruits and do not ripen further after harvest. To enhance flavour and aroma before eating, keep them at room temperature for 1–2 days, which allows the essential oils in the skin to develop more fully without changing the internal sweetness.
The mandarins include Clementines and juice mandarins, depending on the season. They ripen in mixed orchards with orange and lemon trees, accompanied by herbs and cover crops. Not every variety peels easily, but each carries the full aroma of natural farming. They are carefully hand-harvested and remain fully traceable to the farms.
Our fruits are harvested only after Your order and at perfect ripeness. They are then packed fresh and untreated, cleaned exclusively with brushes and without water (to protect local water resources), directly into the cardboard boxes – ready for You to pick up just a few days later.
