HARVEST SHARE Fruit Box. From Field to Heart, Starting November
Harvest share for fresh fruit: seasonal boxes from community-supported agriculture – delivered to You, carried by a Europe-wide community.
Fruit box »Oranges«
"A box contains around 24–48 oranges, depending on size. They are harvested fully ripe and are non-climacteric, meaning they do not ripen further after harvest. Stored cool and dark, they keep for up to two months or longer.
The fruits come from the Anyfion cooperative in Nafplio (Peloponnese), cultivated organically and regeneratively in mixed citrus groves. Soil fertility is maintained with compost and cover crops, and all harvesting is done by hand at peak ripeness.
This way, you can enjoy juicy, sun-kissed oranges for weeks – whether eaten fresh, pressed into juice, or used in savoury and sweet dishes."
This product is only available for community deliveries.

Fruit Box Harvest Shareper year
HARVEST SHARE »Oranges« – Oranges kissed by the sun, hand-picked and full of Mediterranean flavour
Our fruit box »Oranges« is for everyone who values vibrant freshness, natural sweetness, and the Mediterranean’s signature aroma. The fruits come from smallholder-tended citrus groves around Nafplio on the Peloponnese – cultivated in regenerative mixed-crop systems with natural care.
Harvest takes place only when the oranges have reached their full variety-specific flavour and natural ripeness – hand-picked, directly from the tree, without detours. The varieties change with the season, from Navel to Merlin to aromatic juice oranges. Whether freshly pressed, enjoyed as a snack, or served for dessert – »Oranges« are a timeless classic with character.
Each box is more than just fruit – it’s a contribution to Your nourishment and to a solidarity-based food system. These oranges bring You the warmth of the Mediterranean, the intense aroma of ripe citrus, and the good feeling of being part of a living network.
Immediately after harvest, they are sorted, packed, and delivered directly to Your TEIKEI pick-up point – fresh, untreated, and full of flavour.
By choosing this box, You’re not only securing a harvest share, but also standing for fair prices, living soils, and the future of small-scale farming – with a direct connection between producers and members.

Orange tip
Oranges can be sliced thinly and dried in a dehydrator or oven at low temperature – an aromatic snack that also works well in teas or as decoration. Orange peels can also be simmered until soft, blended into a purée, and used as a base for flavourful cakes or pastries.
The fruits are harvested at their best ripeness. A bright, firm skin and full aroma indicate that they are ready to enjoy.
STORE FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE
Oranges store very well. Keep them in a cool, dry place, ideally at 2–8 °C with 90–95% humidity. Arrange them loosely to allow good air circulation.
Please follow the storage instructions on the label.
RIPENING
Oranges are non-climacteric and do not ripen further after harvest. There is no need to store them with other fruits for ripening. They were picked at their optimal stage and are ready to eat immediately.
The oranges come from the Anyfion cooperative, which has been farming organically in the Nafplio region since 2002. Navel, Merlin, and juice oranges are grown at altitudes of 10–500 m. Soil fertility is maintained with compost and cover crops, with no synthetic sprays or fertilizers. Harvesting is done by hand at peak ripeness. Every delivery is traceable back to the farms – ensuring full transparency and trust.
Our fruits are harvested only after Your order and at perfect ripeness. They are then packed fresh and untreated, cleaned exclusively with brushes and without water (to protect local water resources), directly into the cardboard boxes – ready for You to pick up just a few days later.
If storing the fruit outdoors, protect it from frost, e.g. with a blanket or in a styrofoam box. Check the fruit for bruises and damage upon receipt and consume any affected fruit first. If You discover mould, remove the affected fruit.
Please follow the instructions on the label.
