"TILLIT" is the mildest olive oil in our TEIKEI range. It is harvested in January and February, when the olives have reached full ripeness, producing a particularly soft, round, and balanced flavour.

In the hills surrounding Skoura, around 120 small, family-run farms cultivate their olive groves. Their work is driven by responsibility, care, and a deep awareness of quality and fairness. They consistently avoid the use of synthetic chemical sprays and industrially produced fertilisers. Independent laboratory analyses regularly confirm that the olive oil is free of residues.

Processing takes place in an excellently managed local oil mill. The employees place the greatest emphasis on care, health, fair working conditions, and transparent collaboration. At the same time, they are open to new forms of community-based business structures.

Precise sorting upon delivery and gentle cold extraction using the highest technical standards result in a balanced olive oil with a delicate flavour that embodies the values.

Storage advice
Optimal Storage for Maximum Freshness
Store your olive oil in a cool, dark place at stable temperatures between 12 and 23°C. Direct sunlight, temperature fluctuations, or excessively high temperatures above 23°C can significantly reduce its quality.

After opening a canister or container, you should use the olive oil within 2 to 3 months if tightly closed to preserve its freshness and flavor. Alternatively, you can transfer oil from larger containers into smaller, ready-to-use bottles.

An exception to this rule are 19L stainless steel barrels: Since the olive oil is drawn gently and carefully, without unnecessary movement, oxidation is greatly reduced. This preserves the freshness and quality of the oil for significantly longer.

The right container for every need

➤ 0.5L reusable bottle
Store in a dry, dark place. A pouring spout is recommended after opening. Consume within 2–3 months.

➤ 3L, 5L, and 17L canisters
Store at stable temperatures between 12 and 23°C, protected from light. Keep tightly closed after opening and consume within 2–3 months.

➤ 10L Bag-in-Box
Protection from oxygen through a special bag system prevents oxidation. Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature between 12 and 23°C.

➤ 19L Stainless Steel Barrel
The barrel is filled with food-safe inert gas to prevent oxidation. Store in a dry place at 12–23°C, protected from sunlight. When emptying, only open the vent screw to ensure oxidation protection.

Important Note
At temperatures around 12°C or below, TEIKEI olive oil may coagulate – this is a natural quality characteristic and not a defect. However, this can make it difficult to remove from the container. Plan storage accordingly to ensure unadulterated enjoyment at all times.
Production
Producer code: SKOU1 – Community Mill Skoura, Peloponnese

“Tillit” comes from the olive groves surrounding Skoura near Sparta, at altitudes between 150 and 280 m. Around 120 small-scale farms collaborate here, processing their olives in a transparently organized community mill.

The trees grow on mineral-rich, gently sloping soils, shaped by a stable microclimate. Thanks to consistent rainfall and the protection of the surrounding hills, yield fluctuations can largely be balanced out naturally.

All olives are harvested by hand, taken immediately to the community mill, and cold-pressed on site. Every processing step – from the reception of the olives to bottling – is documented and fully traceable, ensuring both quality and transparency.
Specialities
"TILLIT" is harvested late – a time that gives the oil its mild, harmonious aroma. The olives come from a transparently organized community press in which around 120 smallholder farms collaborate. The entire process – from receiving the olives through processing to bottling – is fully documented and traceable.

Thanks to the stable microclimate in the Skoura region, the trees are protected from extreme yield fluctuations. This ensures consistently high quality – even in difficult years.

Shelf life
Shelf life is two years from the harvest date.

The harvest date is noted on the label and is only valid if stored properly.

With a harvest share, you are always guaranteed freshly harvested olive oil from the latest season. The harvest at "TILLIT" takes place in January.

As a rule, the olive harvest begins in mid to late October and continues until January, depending on the growing region. However, TEIKEI olive oil remains a natural product, which is why the time of harvest can change depending on the weather.
Use
»TILLIT« is ideal for Mediterranean dishes such as Caprese salad, grilled vegetables, or pasta with a light sauce. Potato salad, quiche, or asparagus dishes also benefit from the fine, gentle note that »TILLIT« adds.

Thanks to its particularly subtle flavour, it is perfect for all dishes where the oil should stay in the background – such as mayonnaise or delicate dressings.

In addition, it is excellent for the production of natural care products – such as moisturisers or hair masks – thanks to its mild texture.
