Who We Are
TEIKEI Agora is more than a marketplace.
It's a European coordination space for regenerative food systems – where logistics, relationships and values flow together.
Below, You'll get to know the pillars that carry this movement.

ON CAPE AKRITAS,
a nature reserve on the Peloponnese, grow the olive trees that are lovingly tended and harvested by the farming communities of the TEIKEI Olive Movement. At the center of our work is the question to the producers:
"What do you need to continue farming sustainably?"
This question forms the foundation for cooperation with the olive farmers on the Greek peninsula.

ANOTHER CENTRAL ELEMENT OF THE TEIKEI VALUES
is evident in the structures around a well-organized olive oil press in Sparta.
It makes its entire infrastructure available to producers to strengthen networking and expand sustainable and meaningful olive oil production. The olives are carefully hand-picked, sorted on site and packed in crates.
Within 24 hours, they are processed into high-quality, cold-pressed olive oil at the nearest press.

THE FARMING COMMUNITY IN VASILITSI,
one of the first, has existed since 2014. It is organized by Panagiotis Marantos, his wife Vicky and Felix and serves as a working example of how olive cultivation and olive oil production can look within the framework of TEIKEI Olive.
They are producers themselves and work closely with the producers in their environment where possible, coordinate the annual harvest and olive oil production, and create long-term perspectives through socially and ecologically sustainable management.

THROUGH THIS COOPERATIVE APPROACH
not only is local value creation strengthened, but the vision of a solidarity-based and regenerative agriculture is also put into practice.
The organization and implementation of TEIKEI values remains in the hands of local communities, which independently develop the best possible solutions for their region. The communities in Vasilitsi and Sparta exemplify how cultivation and production can succeed in harmony with TEIKEI principles.

TEIKEI OLIVE – A LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP
What started as a collaboration with smallholder olive farms has become a living model for direct trade and regenerative agriculture.
TEIKEI Olive supports producers in Greece with fair prices, transparent logistics and long-term planning.
Each olive oil harvest share carries a story of care, respect and community-based cultivation – without detours, without speculation.

TEIKEI Fruit – FRUITS FROM DIVERSITY
Citrus, persimmons, kiwis or pomegranates – TEIKEI Fruit brings winter freshness from the South directly into the heart of European communities.
The fruit harvest shares support farms that grow in polycultures, work with compost and mulch, and prioritize biodiversity over monoculture.
With every crate, You support a different way of fruit logistics – community-based and planetary-health-focused.

TEIKEI AGORA – COORDINATION & LOGISTICS
At the heart of TEIKEI lies the Agora – the space where everything comes together.
This is the coordination point for harvest share planning, logistics, producer communication and technical support.
The Agora connects farmers, members, pickup points and regional initiatives into one resilient network – across country borders and always focused on care, transparency and trust.

Community-based logistics

COMMUNITY ORGANISERS – THE PULSE OF THE NETWORK
TEIKEI grows through people who take initiative in their neighborhoods:
who organise pickups, invite others to join, answer questions and coordinate orders.
They are the bridge between the Agora and the local communities – and a living example of decentralised cooperation in action.

TEIKEI EVENTS – WHERE CONNECTION TAKES ROOT
From local packing days to regional festivals and European gatherings – TEIKEI hosts events where values become visible and alive. The most regular of these are the monthly pickup events, taking place across Europe in dozens of communities. They create connection between farm and table, strengthen trust, and invite shared responsibility. Every event nurtures the soil of our shared future.
Meet producers and partners
Learn, co-create, celebrate
Strengthen the movement through connection
TEIKEI PRINCIPLES – THE ROOTS THAT GUIDE US
At the heart of TEIKEI are ten principles that shape every decision we take – from how we grow and distribute food to how we relate to one another. These principles reflect a commitment to food sovereignty, shared responsibility, and regenerative culture. They are not fixed rules, but living agreements that evolve with the movement.
Grounded in care, trust, and participation
A compass for decisions across the network
A shared foundation for diverse communities
TEIKEI INTELLIGENCE – THE SYSTEM BEHIND THE SCENES
TEIKEI develops shared tools and clear processes that allow us to grow without losing connection. Logistics, legal structures, coordination flows – all of these make up the invisible scaffolding of the network. TEIKEI Intelligence supports every part of the system, so local action and European cooperation can thrive together.
Tools for logistics, communication, and governance
Supports transparency and autonomy
Enables scale without centralisation
